Packet Pickup and Registration
June 4th: Late Registration and packet pick-up will run from 4:00pm – 7:30pm at the Old Town square (follow the signs from the bike kiosk). No Day of Registration! Pre-Registered Riders, Saturday 6:00am pick up Number & Packet or 30 minutes before your race time!

Join hundreds of cycling enthusiasts for a weekend of biking one of northern Colorado’s best kept secrets: Rist Canyon. The pros will do it, and so can you by registering for the Citizen’s Rist Canyon Road Ride. This citizen timed ride is suitable for riders of all levels: feel the life-changing challenge of the 9-mile ascent to the top of Rist Canyon. Don’t worry, your adrenaline will keep you going!
Atop the canyon, take a moment and catch your breath with a free photo opportunity and preserve your triumph.
While you are catching your breath and enjoying the majestic scenery of the top of Rist Canyon enjoy a cool drink and some food from our supported tent area. Feel free to stay a while and cheer on your friends as they finish to the top! But that’s not all the fun! Stay a bit longer and watch the ACA racers crank up the last few switch backs or head out of the final 19 miles of mostly down hill. The Pro Classes run at 9:50am So by 11:15am ish they will be hitting the top for you to cheer your favorite team!
Next, you’ll descend the Buckhorn Canyon with its fields of wild flowers, small villages and historical areas. The valleys open up to scenic red canyons that give way to bright blue sky: landscape that can only truly be appreciated on the saddle of your bike!
Citizen Rides – Ride de Rist, fully supported Sag stations. All citizens are given a time to the top of Rist Canyon, be part of the action at your pace.
Once back in Masonville cool off under the big top tent for a great view of the rocky mountains, BBQ, Beer and Live Bluegrass music. Cool off with a huge water mist cooling fan. Music 11:30am - 2:00pm
