Race Course Discriptions
Masters’ Road Race Championship Course w/ King of Rist Day one and ACA all categories Description: This legendary loop course allows the spectators to watch the start of the race as well see the finish within the same location. Racers will begin their race from the CSU Hughes Stadium; proceed to the east through gate #2 and ride south on Overland Trail; Turn west on County Road 42C, Continue north on to Centennial drive over the Horsetooth damns (County Road 23) Turning Left at Bellvue on to County Road 52E head west up Rist Canyon to Buckhorn Canyon, turning left onto County Road 27 (Stove Prairie Road) and heading south toward Masonville and County Road 38E. Then turn south on County Road 27; east on County Road 24H; north on County Road 25E; turning right and heading east on County Road 38E to County Road 23 (Centennial Drive) turning right on 42C heading East turn left on Overland Trail Road to Hughes Stadium gate #2.
Sunday Course Descriptions:The unique Rist Canyon hill climb course allows the racers an exciting challenge. Racers will begin their race from the CSU Hughes Stadium; proceed to the east through gate #2 and ride south on Overland Trail; Turn west on County Road 42C; then straight onto County Road 23 and proceed north over the Horsetooth damns to County Road 52E. The racers then turn left and head west 9.5 miles up to the top Rist Canyon, finishing at the summit.

This loop course allows the spectators to watch the start of the race as well see the finish within the same location. This course will provide racers an exciting event with Horsetooth Reservoir in the backdrop while racing for a state championship. Racers will begin their race from the CSU Hughes Stadium; proceeding to the east through gate #2 and ride south on Overland Trail; turning west on County Road 42C; and onto County Road 23 heading north. Following county road 23, turning right and heading east on Bingham Hill Road (CR 50E), turning right heading south on Overland Trail Road to Hughes Stadium gate #2.
